Paula Woodgate ADCRG

Paula Woodgate brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise of the Irish Dance world. She has been a teaching and adjudicating for 40 years. She has proudly served as the President of the Canadian Irish Dance Teacher’s Association and Vice President with An Coimisuin le Rinci Gaelacha. Her contribution to the world of Irish dance has been truly extraordinary and she is well known and respected throughout the world as one of the foremost authorities of our beloved sport.

 

Siobhan Crummey ADCRG

Siobhan is a certified Irish dance teacher registered in Canada, North American and Ireland.  Siobhan founded The Shamrock Academy in 1998 while still attending university. Siobhan has been Irish dancing since the age of four and brings with her many years of Irish dancing experience  from performing to the highest level of international competition. Siobhan teaches in all Shamrock locations.

 

Grainne Bryson TCRG

Grainne is a certified Irish dance teacher registered in Canada, North American and Ireland. Grainne is the 1999 Senior Ladies Canadian Champion and has  appeared  in numerous performances including  the Toronto production of "NeedFire". Miss Grainne is a favourite of all of our dancers and a true asset to our teaching team. Grainne teaches in all Shamrock locations.

 

Katie Dennis TCRG

Katie Dennis brings a wealth of dance knowledge from her twelve years as a competitive Irish dancer to our Woodgate- Shamrock classes. This former Championship dancer lives to Irish dance and her energy resounds every time she puts on her shoes! Miss Katie is a wonderful combination of fierce competitor and patient teacher- a welcome face in any Woodgate-Shamrock class.  Katie teaches in all locations and in all class levels. contact Katie: katie@woodgateshamrock.com

Miss. Emily

Emily Fegan is an accomplished competitive Irish dancer who brings a wealth of knowledge to the Shamrock teaching team. Emily has been in Irish dance since the age of four and has a true passion and enthusiasm which she brings to every class. Emily will be working in the all locations.

Miss Kaitlin

Kaitlin Andrushko is a senior dancer who brings her love of dance to our young recreational dancers. Kaitlin is a Championship dancer with a wealth of experience in competing and performing. Kait brings her enthusiasm for Irish dance, her great patience and skill to her students. Kait is the reigning Oireachtas Champion in her age group. Kaitlin has been an assistant with Miss. Grainne & Miss Siobhan for a number of years and we are pleased to have her as a recreational teacher. She has proven to be a favourite among all of our young dancers. 

Miss Colleen

Colleen is a Championship dancer and brings her love of dance to every class. Colleen is thrilled to be teaching in our recreational programs as well- Colleen is a valuable assistant in many classes. Colleen teaches in the Burlington and Brampton locations.

Assistants

As well as our qualified teaching staff we also have a number of senior dancers who are a vital part of our class structure. Our assistants are placed in age & skill appropriate classes to ensure the best possible learning environment, helping the teachers ensure every student gets the most out of every lesson.
